The Arizona Cardinals unveiled new uniforms on Thursday evening, 18 years to the day after they revealed their previous set.

The new uniforms, which are on Nike’s Vapor Fusion template, feature an Arizona wordmark across the chest of the red home jersey and a traditional striping pattern on the sleeves of both the road white and black alternate jerseys.

A Cardinals wordmark is displayed inside of the silver and red sleeve stripes on the road white and black alternate jerseys, which also have the phrase “Bird Gang” sewn into the back collar. The red home jersey has “Protect The Nest” in the collar, meanwhile.

All three uniforms feature perforated twill numbers in the same font as before, as well as a primary logo on the back above the nameplate. The pants match the corresponding jersey, with a plain design for the red pants and stripes on the white and black pants.

The uniforms are complete with a new white helmet, which includes silver flakes, a silver facemask and a larger three-dimensional logo, which first appeared on the team’s black alternate helmet last season. The black helmet, which features red flakes, will remain in the rotation.

This marks the fourth uniform change for the Cardinals since they moved from St. Louis ahead of the 1988 season. That includes adding the state flag to the sleeves in 1989, simplifying the sleeve design in 1996 and the complete overhaul in 2005.

Arizona, which also introduced a modernized primary logo in 2005, had since added a black alternate jersey in 2010, black “Color Rush” uniform in 2017 and the aforementioned black alternate helmet in 2022. Check out more photos of the Cardinals’ new uniforms below.
