With less than 100 days until the season kicks off, EA Sports has officially revealed the Standard and Deluxe Edition covers of College Football 26, which will be released on July 10.
The Standard Edition cover features two of the nation’s top wide receivers in Alabama’s Ryan Williams and Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith in front of a backdrop that includes dozens of team logos, while the Deluxe Edition covers shows the duo flanked by other current players, coaches and legends.

“Last year, when we brought back the pride, pageantry, atmospheres and traditions of college football, the response from fans was overwhelming,” EA Sports College Football vice president of franchise strategy and marketing said in a statement.
“With College Football 26, we’re celebrating our sophomore season with two generational sophomore wide receivers on the cover and we can’t wait for the world to experience even more heart and authenticity across athletes, stadiums, coaches and fans.”
The other players include Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood, Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, Penn State running back Nicholas Singleton, Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt, Florida quarterback D.J. Lagway, Ohio State safety Caleb Downs, Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik, LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier and South Carolina defensive end Dylan Stewart.
The coaches, who did not appear in College Football 25 but will be featured in this year’s rendition, include Georgia’s Kirby Smart, Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman, Arizona State’s Kenny Dillingham, Ole Miss’ Lane Kiffin, Oregon’s Dan Lanning, Ohio State’s Ryan Day and Penn State’s James Franklin.
“Being on the cover of EA SPORTS College Football 26 is a tremendous privilege, and I’m proud to represent Ohio State alongside Coach Day while carrying the Buckeye legacy forward, celebrating the passion of our fans and the tradition of this incredible program,” Smith said.
Lastly, the legends include former USC running back Reggie Bush, Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson and Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, who were all on the cover of NCAA Football video game series, which was rebranded to College Football when the game returned in 2024 following an 11-year hiatus.
“As a lifelong fan of EA SPORTS games, being on the cover of College Football 26 is a dream come true,” Williams said. “It was incredible to see myself in College Football 25 last year, and now to represent Alabama and share this moment with fans who’ve played EA SPORTS games for years is unreal.”

The Deluxe Edition cover – which sources indicated was not finalized when the cover athletes and coaches were leaked in March – is complete with mascots from Georgia, Tennessee, Oregon and Clemson, as well as band members, fans, flags and signage from a variety of schools.
