It’s that time of year in the Minors—we’ve reached the halfway mark of the season in many leagues, and there’s no surer sign of the midway point of a baseball season than all star games. To that end, five leagues in the Minors are holding their summer classics this evening, all of them featuring logos that highlight team colors and branding of the host team.
The High-A California League will hold its all star game in Lancaster, California, home of the JetHawks.
The logo for the High-A Carolina League’s midsummer classic features the whiskery wordmark of the Carolina Mudcats, who play in Zebulon, North Carolina.
The motion-sick visage of Luggie the Lansing Lugnut graces the logo of the Single-A Midwest League’s game logo.
The Single-A South Atlantic, or Sally, League’s logo highlights the Greensboro Grasshoppers, yet another game North Carolina.
And finally, the Double-A Southern League’s all star game will take place in Birmingham, Alabama, home to the Birmingham Barons.
