The Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, have only been around since 2003, but they’ll spend 2016 throwing back to the 1980s with a series of promotional uniforms.

The best of the lot is “Salute to 8-Bit and Arcades Night” on July 8, when the RoughRiders will take to the field in Game Boy–themed jerseys. Per the team’s website, “The uniforms feature the text ‘Riders’ inside of the Game Boy ‘screen’ on the front of the uniform top, above of a directional pad, ‘A,’ ‘B,’ ‘Select,’ and ‘Start’ buttons along with the classic Game Boy vent-style speaker on the lower right-hand side. On the back of the uniform, each player’s number will be represented with 8-bit digits and their name written on the top of an inserted ‘game cartridge.'”

he-slimed-meSlimer, the toothy green ghost from Ghostbusters, leaves his mark on the RoughRiders’ July 29 jerseys, when the team holds “Ghostbusters Tribute Night.”

The jersey feature a proton pack and the ectoplasmic goo that Bill Murray made famous with the classic deadpan line, “He slimed me.”

Finally, the RoughRiders will celebrate “Salute to Top Gun Night” June 24 with jerseys that look awfully super similar to the ones that the Gary SouthShore RailCats unveiled earlier this year. Given that this is the 30th anniversary of Top Gun, we’re sure to see lots of Top Gun uniforms this season, and we’ll be as sick of that promo as we were of Back to the Future last year.

So the RoughRiders, who have been in the news a lot this offseason for their plans to build an in-stadium lazy river, went two for three with the jerseys they’ve unveiled so far in their “Riders Con 2016” promotional series. Other jerseys this season will include Paint the Park Pink (May 7), Military Appreciation Night (May 21), Vulcan Salute to Star Trek (June 11), Star Wars Night (August 20), and State Fair of Texas Night (September 2).
