In 2003 the City of Hull itself was re-named Gatineau, the team followed suit and also changed their name becoming the Gatineau Olympiques.

The 40th anniversary logo is in the team colours of black, silver, and white – a colour combination the team has been using for a majority of its seasons.  The current team primary logo forms the “0” in “40”, a ribbon below contains the establishment year of 1973 along with the 2013 anniversary season.

The Olympiques have announced some plans for their anniversary season, notably the retiring of the jerseys of former players Maxime Talbot (# 25), Martin Gelinas (# 20), and Colin White (# 24), as well as coaches Alain Vigneault and Claude Julien.
