The Los Angeles Chargers will debut their new gold “Charger Power” alternate uniforms during Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, which kicks off at 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS.
The uniforms were one of two new alternate uniforms the Chargers added to their wardrobe this offseason, joining their all-navy “Super Chargers” design, which includes a new navy blue helmet inspired by their time in San Diego.
Meanwhile, the only new pieces of the “Charger Power” uniforms are the gold jerseys and socks, which are paired with the Chargers’ standard white helmets and gold pants that have been in the rotation since the 2020 campaign.
The jerseys follow the same template as their home powder blue and white road designs, with two-color numbers and lightning bolts on the sleeves, whereas the new navy blue uniform has a double outline on the numbers and bolts.

The gold “Charger Power” and navy blue “Super Chargers” alternate uniforms replace Los Angeles’ royal blue and navy blue “Color Rush” uniforms, though the royal blue design was actually phased out ahead of last season.
This will mark the only appearance for the gold jerseys in 2024, while the navy blue uniforms will be worn against the Minnesota Vikings on Oct. 23 Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 30. The Chargers also introduced new powder blue pants, which have already been worn twice this year.

In addition to the uniforms, Los Angeles will paint a vintage design on the turf at SoFi Stadium that features their 1960s wordmark in the powder blue end zones. They previously used this design for select games from 2009-15, originally in celebration of the AFL’s 50th season.
It’s not yet clear if the Colts will counter with their all-white road uniforms on Sunday or be forced to wear their royal blue home jerseys for contrast purposes – though we didn’t have any issues when we looked at the new alternate and throwback uniform matchups in Madden 26.
