Magic Reach for the Stars With New Uniform

The Orlando Magic want to “inspire fans to “reach for the stars” with their new “City Edition” uniform unveiled via a video posted to Twitter this morning.

The uniform is black with the Magic’s basketball with a comet tail logo flying across the front in silver, black, and white; a large player number in white with blue trim offset below it to the right. Up each side of the uniform is the tail of the comet, which looks like a lightning bolt in this application, inside this design is a night sky.

“Orlando has always been a city for dreamers. It’s where imagination becomes reality, and it’s where fans believe in Magic”, the official Magic website state. “The Orlando Magic City Edition uniform represents the dreamer in each of us. It invites us to dream beyond limits and reach for the stars”

It’s a similar concept and explanation the team used last year with their City Edition uniform, the difference between the two is basically just where they placed the design of the night sky – last year it made up the base of the uniform, this year it’s on each side.

The Magic will wear their new City Uniforms 13 times, eight at home. Full schedule below:
