The Missouri football program unveiled updated uniforms earlier this week, bringing the Tigers’ home black jersey in line with their white road and gold alternate jerseys.
The overall design remains the same as what Missouri unveiled in 2021, with a consistent striping pattern across the helmets, jerseys and pants. They’ve now added a “Mizzou” wordmark above the numbers, which are now white instead of gold.
Missouri already made this change to the white road jersey ahead of the 2022 season before introducing a matching gold jersey midway through the season. The wordmark and numbers are black on both of those jerseys, with a gold and white stroke, respectively.
The updated black jerseys will presumably make their on-field debut during the Tigers’ home opener against South Dakota on Sept. 2, though it’s worth noting Missouri wore white at home once and gold twice last season, including for homecoming.
