The Oregon State football program unveiled brand new football uniforms ahead of its annual Spring Game on Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers held a special event at Reser Stadium for season-ticket holders, which marked the first time anyone outside of the players and coaches saw the uniforms. That was followed by a public release on social media shortly thereafter.
Oregon State was among the last Nike teams still wearing the eight-year-old Speed Machine template, but updated to the Vapor Untouchable template with this uniform unveiling. The oversized stripes have also been moved from the sleeve caps to the shoulders, but look a bit more streamlined from their previous iteration.
The helmet was worn by the team last season, and the number font has also been carried over from the Beavers’ previous set, but features a sublimated tree ring pattern and “natural” color. The word “BEAVS” is prominently displayed across the chest of all three uniforms, including the wood-colored road set.
