The Pittsburgh Steelers announced on Tuesday they’ll wear their block number throwback uniforms during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, which kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The uniforms aren’t a significant departure from what the Steelers typically wear at home, with a traditional striping pattern on the sleeves, but they feature white block numbers instead of italicized digits and block letters on the nameplate instead of a Futura typeface.

Pittsburgh is 3-0 in these throwback uniforms, including a 33-18 win over the Cleveland Browns in 2018, a 17-12 win over the Los Angeles Rams in 2019 and a 13-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022, which marked the 50th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception.

”You think back on all of the great players who wore the jersey before you, especially Franco Harris,” quarterback Kenny Pickett told the team website. ”Going back to last year and how special that game was and getting that win for him. It will be another special game on Sunday.”

It’s unclear if the Steelers will once again paint the end zones at Acrisure Stadium to match the vintage design at Three Rivers Stadium, like they did last season. If they do, though, the end zones will be gold with stenciled wordmarks sandwiched between AFC and NFL logos.
