In case you’ve missed it, tonight is the final edition of this season’s Nike/NFL Color Rush program, and they’re going out with a classic matchup of Ketchup vs. Mustard…a.k.a. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the St. Louis Rams.
The Rams are hosting this game, and they’ve decided that they’re going to paint their endzone and 50-yard line logo extra yellow for the special occasion.
Now, the crew here at sportslogos.net are big fans of painting the football field with special colors for special occasions. It’s always nice when the Chargers do it every time they wear their powder-blue alts (and it was even better when those powder-blue unis were throwbacks). It was especially cool when the Dolphins gave their field a throwback design for their recent Monday Night Football clash with the Giants. I’d say that I’m 50/50 on this particular design. The endzones look nice (I’ve said before that I actually don’t hate the Rams’ all-yellow look since the shade of yellow and navy work well together, in my opnion), but I can’t really say that I’m a fan of the yellow-fied Rams logo.
But what do you guys think? Do you like both the super-yellow Rams logo and endzones, or do you like one or the either? Do you hate both? Either way, let us know what you think.
