The newest baseball team in the collegiate summer level ranks is the Hungry Mothers of Marion, Virginia. The team draws its name from nearby Hungry Mother State Park, a five-square-mile area in the heart of the mountains of southwest Virginia that was one of the original six Virginia State Parks.
