Tampa Bay Buccaneers Reveal Super Bowl LV Rings

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their Super Bowl LV championship rings during a private ceremony for players, coaches, front office members and their families on Thursday night.

“From the beginning, there was one thing that was very clear to us, is that the Glazer family wanted to have the best Super Bowl ring in history,” Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills, which manufactured the rings, said in a statement. “They wanted every detail to stand out and every detail to be done to perfection so that they could deliver the best possible ring to the organization, the team and the community.”

The face of the ring prominently displays Tampa Bay’s primary logo carved from red stone on top of a pair of Vince Lombardi trophies, signifying their victories in Super Bowl XXXVII and LV. The trophy on the left features nine diamonds in its base to signify to points allowed by defense in the win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

There are hundreds of round diamonds on the face, which also includes the words “World Champions” at the top and bottom. There are also eight emerald-cut diamonds on the sides, which represent the last eight wins of the Buccaneers’ season.

The band of the ring is inscribed with the last name of the person receiving the ring. The players have their jersey number below that while others have the NFL logo in that spot alongside the team’s motto, “One Team, One Cause.”

The other side of the ring has Tampa Bay’s wordmark, Super Bowl LV logo, the score of the game (31-9) and the year, 2020. The Vince Lombardi Trophy on the side includes four diamonds to represent the Buccaneers’ four playoff wins.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the ring, though, is the twist-off top that reveals a three-dimensional model of Raymond James Stadium, meant to celebrate Tampa Bay becoming the first franchise to win the Super Bowl on its home field.

“I think this is by far the most incredible ring that’s ever been made and it’s commemorating a very special team that came together at the most important moments,” quarterback Tom Brady said during the event

Overall, the Buccaneers’ championship rings include 15 carats of white diamonds (319 total) and 15 karat white and yellow gold. The number of diamonds is meant to evoke the final score of Super Bowl LV.
