A trio of Canadian Premier League teams have unveiled their new Hummel kits in the run-up to the league’s new season.
Last week, Vancouver FC, defending champions Atlético Ottawa and Hamilton-based Forge FC all rolled out new kits for 2026, the first year of a new league-wide deal with the Danish manufacturer.
All three kits feature the CanPL’s new league logo in club colours on the right sleeve.
VANCOUVER FC

Vancouver FC are back in black as they head into their fourth CanPL season. This year’s primary kit sees red horizontal pinstripes running across the front of the black jersey, with a tonal V pattern based on the club crest running through alternating hoops. The collar is black with a red insert at the front, on which sits a white maple lead. The sleeve cuffs are red with the V pattern in black.
ATLÉTICO OTTAWA

2025 North Star Cup champions Atlético Ottawa head into the new season still wearing their traditional red-and-white stripes inherited from sister club Atlético de Madrid in Spain’s La Liga, but with a couple of subtle twists. The red stripes on the jersey are composed of two different shades of red with a white pinstripe in between. The white stripes, meanwhile, have blue pinstripes down the centre. The collar is solid red while the sleeve cuffs have red, white and blue striping. White Hummel chevrons appear in a red stripe going down the sleeve.
FORGE FC

Elsewhere in Ontario, Forge FC pays tribute to the “grit, pressure and ambition” of Hamilton’s industrial roots with its 2026 primary kit. Like other Forge home kits, the jersey is primarily orange, but features swirling tonal orange and black patterns all over. The V-neck collar and sleeve cuffs are both solid orange, while sponsor logos on the chest and sleeve are white.
The secondary kit, meanwhile, is mostly grey with a pattern of dark grey rectangles and smaller orange “digital embers” all over. According to the club, the embers represent “the ingenuity that is woven into the fabric of our community.” The sleeve cuffs and collar are dark grey, with a lighter grey insert in a notch at the front of the collar.
Forge FC also released an exclusive member’s jersey for season ticket holders last month, a tribute to the Hamilton Steelers teams of the 1980s, but it remains to be seen if players will wear that kit in a match.
The only other CanPL team to release their primary kit is expansion franchise FC Supra du Québec, who did so on Thursday, January 29. More kit unveilings are expected over the next few weeks, but for now the CanPL is keeping fans engaged with the release of their 2026 schedule on Monday, February 2. All three of the above clubs will play on the first day of the new season (Saturday, April 4), as Forge FC hosts Atlético Ottawa and Vancouver FC hosts HFX Wanderers.
