USFL Unveils North, South Division Logos Ahead Of Reboot Season

With the start of the season just a few months away, the USFL unveiled new logos for its North and South divisions on Thursday morning.

Naturally, the logos are in the shape a football with an italicized “N” or “S” and four stars surrounding it, which represent the number of teams in each division. The North Division logo is blue while the South Division logo is red, borrowing the colors from the USFL’s wordmark logo.

The North Division includes the Michigan Panthers, New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars and Pittsburgh Maulers, while the South features the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Gamblers, New Orleans Breakers and Tampa Bay Bandits.

The USFL has not announced its schedule for its upcoming season, but did reveal on Thursday that kickoff was 100 days away. That would mean the 10-game slate would begin on April 16 and continue through June, with a four-team playoff to begin that month.

The league is expected to play its entire reboot season at Protective Stadium and Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama, but that has not been finalized. The plan is to return to their home markets in 2023 and beyond, however.
