The Wisconsin men’s basketball program unveiled new alternate uniforms on Thursday evening that were designed by seniors Brad Davidson, Aleem Ford, Micah Potter and D’Mitrik Trice.
The off-white Under Armour jerseys feature “Wisconsin Badgers” spelled out in a slanted cursive font and asymmetrical stripes down the right side. That carries over to the shorts, which prominently display an oversized “W” encompassed within a circle.
That logo, which made an appearance on fauxback uniforms worn by the football team in 2019, can also be seen below the back collar. The look is complete with a matching number font, the Motion “W” on the waistband and the university crest on the right shoulder, which notably includes a black “W” as a show of support, inclusion and unity.
It’s unclear when Wisconsin will wear the alternate uniforms, though the Badgers are set to host Louisville in the final game of the ACC-Big Ten Challenge on Saturday afternoon (12 p.m. ET on ESPN2).
